The Ocean State has a lot of ponds - perfect for iceboating when a cold snap hits.
But that's kind of old-fashioned: ice-boarding is windsurfing with blades on the smooth surface of a frozen fresh water pond, like here on Wordon Pond, South Kingstown, RI.
